Rock Springs (AP) The unidentified skeleton of a man between 25 and 40 years old has been buried in the county cemetery here, Coroner Peter Vase said Thursday.

The skeleton was found in the Red Desert, 46 miles east of Rock Springs in April. It appeared then that the man had been dead at least two years.

Vase said a complete dental chart was made and several missing person reports checked but no definite clues were found to identify the skeleton. The burial was made last week.

Officials speculated the man wandered into the desert on a winter or early spring night and went to sleep. There was thermal underwear on the skeleton which would indicate the man died in cold weather.
