Greensboro police to host forensics classes

GREENSBORO — The Greensboro Police Department is offering a chance for the public to see how crime scene investigations really work.

Anyone 10 years old and above is invited to attend a free two-hour class on Aug. 15, at the police substation at 300 S. Swing Road, according to a police news release.

“CSI: Real Life” will instruct attendees on forensics.

One class will be held for adults and another for youth. Both will run from 10 a.m. to noon.

The event culminates the department’s celebration of National Forensic Science Week, held from Aug. 9 to 15.
